As I walk in the woods I’m sometimes torn between wanting to be more productive and being in the moment.
I was actually able to get my 13 year old to come out on a walk with my husband and our dog Snow. I’m celebrating these moments at this time and appreciating them and being present.
Walking in the woods, I saw a different perspective when I simply changed my direction.
During this time of social distancing, I look for tools to help me control what I can.
Having a breath practice has really made a huge difference for me during this crisis.
Sheltering in place is really sending home the message for me that I must pay attention to the things that support me and I hope others are able to find that support as well.
What brings forward the Mama Bear in me and other mothers or the Papa Bear in fathers?
As we all start sheltering in place, I’m looking for ways to adapt to the new normal.
A friend recently sent me a text reminding me of the importance of calm especially in the face of Covid-19. So I work to find ways to support my calm.
